Job Description

As a front end software engineer, you’ll join our newly launched Application Development Team in our San Sebastian office.

In this role, you’ll work alongside an extremely talented team and you’ll have the opportunity to scale our current fast-growing digital signage, video, and cloud platform products while also shaping the next products in our pipeline. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Technology, you’ll have a pivotal role in the development of advanced digital applications and more. You’ll maintain close contact with all colleagues in Group Development, as well as our subsidiaries worldwide.

Requirements
  • You ideally have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working in software development.
  • You have experience working on SaaS applications
  • You have the experience that ranges from early-stage start-ups to bigger, well-established organizations
  • You can work cross-stack
  • You like to take ownership of features and execute from planning to production
  • You are very pragmatic in your approach and you don’t over-engineer
  • Experience with developing enterprise features as described above is a huge plus
  • It will be an add-on the demonstrable track record in multimedia, digital signage and hospitality solution environments
  • A good level of spoken and written English is required (Spanish and Danish would be a plus).
Job Functions

Our company is seeking a talented individual to join our newly launched Application Development Team as Front End Software Engineer. The role involves the development, testing, and deployment of applications in both cloud environments and local servers. You will lead front end development efforts, as well as maintain and evolve our current applications of Digital Signage, Guest Communication and many more.

We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer with experience in software development for embedded products and cloud applications. Your primary responsibilities will also include defining and supporting APIs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of cloud development best practices and a proven track record of successful UI application development. Your job functions will include creating mock-ups, developing, testing, and deploying UI applications, as well as maintaining existing applications and ensuring they align with the company’s brand image.

Desirable applications / technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript
  • At least two years of experience in developing web applications using current web technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap
  • Practical experience with at least one SPA (Single Page Application) framework, such as Vue or React, and proficiency in a server-side language like Node.js or PHP
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design and the ability to take an end-user perspective
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and/or Docker is preferred
  • Experience with video frameworks and players, including ffmpeg and VLC on Raspberry Pi
  • Preferred experience with Hospitality TVs and Digital Signage Displays
  • It will be an add-on the demonstrable track record in multimedia, digital signage and hospitality solution environments
